The Victoria Royals are one of 22 major hockey league teams in the Western Hockey League (WHL) and are part of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL), the main feeder into the NHL.
Having delivered four straight consecutive years of playoff post season excitement, winners of the Scotty Munroe Trophy as the WHL’s #1 team during the 2015-2016 regular season, gold medals for players and staff on the international stage, and over a dozen NHL drafted or signed players who’ve worn the Royal blue, the Victoria Royals have hit have hit their stride as the South Island’s favourite sports team and by far the region’s most attended entertainment choice.
